Job summary

Little Leaf Farms is seeking a packaging operator to manage conveyor flows, operate scales, seal cartons, and palletize finished cases. You will ensure labels and date codes align with harvested lettuce and maintain sanitation throughout shift.

You will work in a refrigerated environment, rotate duties, and participate in daily huddles while meeting production goals and quality standards, with safety and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments for 8+ hour shifts.
• Ability to perform monotonous tasks efficiently for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate scales and sealing equipment to package finished cases.
• Stack finished cartons on pallets and move along conveyor.
• Ensure labeling and date codes match harvested lettuce.
• Read scales and verify case weights per specs.
• Maintain sanitation and GMP/HACCP compliance.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues; assist maintenance.
• Enter RedZone data and attend daily huddles.
• Rotate positions during shift; meet production goals.
