Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments for 8+ hour shifts.
• Ability to perform monotonous tasks efficiently for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate scales and packaging equipment and palletize finished cases.
• Manage flow of lettuce through conveyors and scales.
• Place cartons and lids onto conveyors, keeping pace with machinery.
• Ensure labeling and date code match harvested lettuce.
• Read scales and check case weights per specifications.
• Pack sealed cartons into corrugated cases.
• Stack finished cases onto wooden pallets.
• Lift up to 30 lbs safely.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with Maintenance.
• Work in teams to prevent jams and rotate positions.
• Determine if product meets specs and take corrective action.
• Follow GMP and HACCP; maintain sanitary conditions.
