Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a Technical Services Specialist to provide on-site support, perform troubleshooting, and conduct investigations at customer locations. You will serve as a packaging SME, respond to technical and regulatory requests, and help ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in operations, quality, R&D, or labs, plus a BS in a physical science or engineering field, with strong communication and data-analysis skills. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations, quality, R&D, or laboratory environments.
• BS in physical science or engineering fields required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; adept at building internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support at customer locations, including troubleshooting and investigations.
• Lead or assist in customer complaint investigations with sample collection and traceability.
• Communicate technical details clearly to customers and prepare specification documents.
