Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to directly supervise production staff, plan shifts, and ensure efficiency and quality. The role emphasizes adherence to safety, GMPs, and company policies while coordinating with plant management for scheduling and performance tracking.

The position requires strong leadership, familiarity with ERP/SAP systems, and the ability to manage production data and training programs across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• One to three years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Proficient with ERP solutions, SAP preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.
• Plans, assigns and directs work; communicates production schedules and change-overs.
• Inspects packaging materials and validates inventory against run schedules.
