Job summary

tggaccounting is hiring a Packaging Solutions Outside Sales Rep for a field territory covering Richmond, VA and Winchester, VA. Guaranteed $80,000–$130,000 for the first two years (up to $150,000+ for the right candidate); after that, 100% commission with no cap.

You will hunt new business from scratch, build relationships with manufacturers, and sell packaging solutions from design to automation. Local candidates preferred; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of B2B outside sales experience in packaging— titles like Outside Sales Rep, Account Manager, Territory Business Manager, or Business Development Manager all translate
• A true consultative, value-based sales background — you sell solutions, not the lowest price
• Proven track record building new business from scratch: cold calling, prospecting, and creating relationships where none existed before
• No degree required

Responsibilities

• True hunter role — prospect, cold call, network, and build relationships with manufacturers from scratch; no leads provided, no inherited accounts
• Win new business and keep it — once you land an account, it's yours to service and grow long-term; there's no handoff to a separate account manager
• Sell without territory walls — if your VA network surfaces an opportunity in New York, you're free to chase it
• Take a consultative, solution-based approach — understand a customer's packaging and operational pain points and recommend the right fix, not just the cheapest box
• Partner with an in-house design, engineering, and manufacturing team to bring custom packaging and automation solutions to life
• Compete on value against commodity, price-driven competitors
