Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking an on-site production/packaging associate to ensure only quality-approved product is packed for customers. You will support extrusion or molding, weathering, trimming, inspection, and packing to keep lines running efficiently and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities include reading schedules, inspecting and packing, labeling, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should be able to perform basic math, distinguish colors, and work eight to twelve hours with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of relevant production or packaging experience.
• Ability to perform basic math and read/follow work instructions.
• Ability to distinguish colors visually.
• Teamwork oriented and flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules and perform tasks as assigned by shift supervisor.
• Inspect, feed, pack product for WIP or finished goods.
• Maintain standard production cycles on nonrobotic molding machines.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality, mechanical, or material issues.
• Complete production documentation.
• Stand 8-12 hours, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Notify Management/Supervisor of any quality or equipment issues.
