Job summary

Westlake is seeking a capable production associate to ensure only quality-approved product is packaged for customers. Responsibilities include operating extrusion or molding lines, weathering, trimming, inspection, and packing while maintaining continuous production and meeting customer standards.

Candidates should be able to read schedules, perform basic math, distinguish colors, and work eight to twelve-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures
• Read Production Schedule boards and perform work as assigned by shift supervisor
• Inspect, feed, and/or pack product for WIP or finished product
• Maintain standard production cycles on nonrobotic molding machines
• Detect quality defects in molded parts, trim the molded part and assemble the molded part
• Ensure that product has appropriate Lot Information printed on each product
• Build/assemble boxes
• Attach appropriate labels to boxes
• Notify supervisor of any safety, quality, mechanical, or material issues
• Complete production documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor
• Notify Management/Supervisor of any quality or equipment issues
• Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility
