Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation is seeking a production associate to ensure quality-approved product is packaged for customers. The role involves extrusion or injection molding, weathering, trimming, inspection, and packing to keep lines running efficiently and meet customer expectations.

The position requires standing for long shifts, basic math, color differentiation, and teamwork. 1–2 years in a related field and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred; safety gear and OSHA-compliant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; training or certification in relevant skill or trade preferred.
• 1–2 years' experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Read production schedules and perform work as assigned by shift supervisor.
• Inspect, feed, and/or pack product for WIP or finished goods.
• Maintain standard production cycles on nonrobotic molding machines.
• Detect quality defects in molded parts, trim and assemble parts.
• Ensure Lot Information is printed on each product.
• Build/assemble boxes and attach labels.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality, or equipment issues.
• Complete production documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
