Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Production Specialist for the West Chicago, IL area on a day shift (6:00 am–6:00 pm, 4 days one week and 3 days the next). The role involves production area housekeeping, packing, case making, and quality inspection in accordance with GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities include visual inspection, packing to spec, machine support, safety compliance, training of staff, and maintaining clear communication with supervisors and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and written skills for internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area.
• Pack bottles to customer specifications and inspect finished product.
• Operate case making equipment and assist with line changes.
• Notify supervisor of quality or machine issues and assist with training.
• Keep supplies replenished and document required records.
