Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Chicago, IL is seeking a Production Specialist for night shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am), 4 days one week and 3 days the next. Responsibilities include housekeeping, packing, case making, inspecting and other production tasks per guidelines; ensure safety, quality and proper packaging; operate case making equipment and glue tanks; maintain clean, safe work area.

Previous manufacturing experience a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow, and enforce safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement projects and related activities.
• Visually inspect finished product for defects and ensure proper sealing of cases.
• Pack bottles according to customer specifications.
• Operate case making equipment and maintain glue tanks.
• Restack and position cases and units per load patterns to meet customer needs.
• Assist in training permanent and temporary staff in packing, quality and case equipment.
