Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Chicago, IL is seeking a Production Specialist for the night shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am, 4 days one week and 3 days the next). You will handle general housekeeping, packing, case making, inspection and other factory tasks per established procedures.

Responsibilities include following safety, health, quality GMP policies, supporting quality initiatives, inspecting finished product, and ensuring cases are properly sealed and labeled to customer specs.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
• Must communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Able to work independently and complete assignments within set parameters.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow GMP policies.
• Pack bottles to customer specifications and inspect for defects.
• Operate and troubleshoot basic packaging machinery.
• Assist in training permanent and temporary staff.
• Restart, stop and adjust downstream equipment as required.
• Complete written documentation as required.
