Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Clayton, NC is seeking a Process Maintenance Technician I (Packaging) to identify issues and support reliability improvements for the packaging process. You will help minimize downtime by performing corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.

The role reports to the Manager and requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and knowledge of automation, SAP, and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent required.
• High school diploma plus 2 years maintenance experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of compressed air, electromechanical controls, electrical and instrumentation preferred.
• Experience with SAP, schematics and wiring diagrams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve performance and reliability of process equipment.
• Restore equipment function in a technically correct manner.
• Support Event Response and corrective maintenance.
• Operate, monitor, and control equipment and processes.
• Record and review production data in BPRs and forms.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements.
• Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance activities.
