Position Details

Role: First Shift Packaging Operator II
Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $17.70 per hour

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities include processing materials for pick/pack/ship operations, which may involve picking from automated inventory systems, breaking down boxes into units, packing materials for shipping, and processing shipments for carrier pickup.

Role Purpose

Operate packaging lines efficiently according to procedures and customer specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Package products as per specifications into bags, boxes, or totes
• Document quality checks and record data
• Understand and apply product specifications and packaging requirements
• Pull samples and test product for quality, labeling, and weight
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness around equipment and in the warehouse
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance or jams
• Make basic adjustments to equipment to ensure product conformity

Minimum Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
