Job summary

Oregon Freeze Dry, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our Production team on a rotating day shift. This hands-on role focuses on preparing, packaging, and ensuring high-quality products reach customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and is eager to make an impact. The position offers a 12-hour rotating day shift with an hourly pay of $25.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in machine-based manufacturing operations, preferably in food-related manufacturing.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to support peers.
• Ability to understand machine operation and identify when something isn’t functioning properly.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to changes, and take on varied tasks.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment for efficient, safe operation.
• Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.
• Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of machines per SOPs.
• Maintain production flow and report equipment or process issues promptly.
• Complete in-process quality checks and production records in real time.
