Job summary

Selectemp in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a focused Packager for a full-time, on-site role in our food production team. This position offers a steady schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00AM–2:30PM, and starts at $16.00 per hour.

You will prepare and inspect packaged items, maintain a clean workspace, and support the packaging line to meet daily goals. Candidates should be able to lift 35–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 35–50 lbs continuously.
• Stand and stay active for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks.
• Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Previous warehouse/packaging/production experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repack boxes and bags of food into shipping cases accurately and efficiently.
• Place cereal and other products into shipping cartons with care.
• Count and verify product quantities to ensure correctness.
• Stack boxes and pallets safely and efficiently for shipping.
• Inspect packaging for quality, consistency, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Support production and packaging teams to meet daily goals.
