Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry in American Fork, UT is seeking a Packaging Production Team Member to support canning operations, including milling, labeling, and packaging of freeze-dried products. You will help ensure quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow SOPs. Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm shift; report to Packaging Supervisor; collaborate with teammates to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot packaging, milling, and labeling equipment.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and adjust for optimal operation.
• Operate milling equipment to process products per SOPs.
• Ensure proper particle size and consistency.
• Maintain milling equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality.
• Record inspection/test results.
• Package and label finished products per guidelines.
• Store packaged products in designated areas.
• Read instructions and labels; apply labels and tags.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Maintain logs and production data.
• Collaborate with team to meet targets.
• Follow safety rules and SOPs.
