Job summary

Sofidel America, a leader in tissue paper production, seeks a Packaging Operator to run converting equipment safely and efficiently in Duluth, MN. You will ensure products meet specifications and follow GMP/HACCP guidelines while operating a 12‑hour mixed day/night schedule.

Responsibilities include setup, changeovers, quality documentation, and teamwork with maintenance and production staff to sustain uptime and safety. Prior relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 6–12 months experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment with safety compliance.
• Set up and adjust primary/secondary packaging lines.
• Maintain line uptime and meet production rates.
• Perform routine maintenance and report issues.
• Document quality, production, and maintenance data.
