Sofidel America, a leading paper products manufacturer, seeks a Packaging Operator to support the Converting Production line. The role involves operating packaging equipment, adjusting settings, and ensuring products meet quality specs in a safety‑driven environment.

The job operates on a Modified DuPont schedule with 12‑hour day/night shifts and weekend rotation. You will work with cross‑functional teams to achieve throughput targets, perform routine inspections, and coordinate with maintenance

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 6–12 months manufacturing inventory/purchasing experience or equivalent training.
Ability to work across departments in a team environment.
Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality manuals.

Responsibilities

Set-up, operation, adjustment, and change-over of primary/secondary packaging equipment.
Operate the production line to achieve production goals and line uptime.
Perform basic maintenance tasks and report issues to maintenance.
Document quality and production issues on forms during operation.
Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with housekeeping rules.
