ASR Group is seeking an Assistant Packaging Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage packaging and bulk operations in a safe, environmentally responsible and financially prudent manner. You will directly supervise packaging superintendents and supervisors and indirectly lead a large hourly workforce.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years leading high-speed packaging operations.
• Experience in a unionized environment.
• Experience in a CPG or food manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Review daily packaging operation with the packaging superintendent to align on efficiency, inventory, and demand.
• Develop and implement plans to improve performance and leadership capability.
• Build a strong team culture; conduct timely performance evaluations.
• Manage union relationships and grievances with HR.
• Oversee packaging supervisors and a 75+ employee workforce.
