Job summary

ASR Group seeks a Packaging Supervisor to lead sugar packaging production on rotating shifts, directing union crews toward safety, quality, and on-time targets. The role focuses on hands-on leadership on the production floor, resolving issues and sustaining continuous improvement.

You will oversee daily production, drive OEE improvements, and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards while meeting cost goals. A background in industrial operations and problem solving is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A 4-year degree in Industrial/Electrical/Sciences/Technical area preferred.
• Continuous Improvement or quality certification(s) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Monitor production performance for assigned areas and address issues in real time.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining OEE and waste targets.
• Conduct daily huddle meetings and communicate priorities within departments.
• Manage employee performance, attendance, overtime coverage, and disciplinary actions as required.
• Provide guidance to workers in adjusting, repairing, and maintaining machines and equipment to optimize production.
• Ensure all required documentation for production, quality, and safety is completed and delivered.
