ASR Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Packaging Supervisor on the 2nd shift to drive packaging department results through effective resource management, GMPs, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead 15+ hourly associates, coordinate with other departments, implement Lean-Six Sigma, and ensure safety and quality in every shift. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in food manufacturing preferred; SAP, Kronos, and Mii experience a plus. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Business, Food Science, or related field) or equivalent.
• 3+ years leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience directing a 15+ person team.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP, Kronos, and Mii is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work to meet specs and delivery.
• Improve production methods, equipment performance, and safety standards.
• Train, coach and appraise employees; address issues.
• Oversee paperwork, reports, and documentation.
• Drive CI culture and Lean-Six Sigma in staff development.
• Coordinate production planning with departments for downtime.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain equipment and initiate repairs.
• Support food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality.
