Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the shift, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery in a packaging facility. You will manage operators, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

The role requires strong communication, a track record in lean environments and the ability to coach staff while meeting production goals. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Engineering, or Operations Management.
• 3+ years of corrugator/converting supervisory experience in a packaging facility.
• Experience in Lean environment; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt a plus.
• Proven operations/manufacturing/supply chain experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Act as first contact for operators on mechanical or production issues.
• Support continuous improvement and enforce control procedures.
• Coordinate production with other departments to meet goals.
• Monitor activities to ensure schedules and reduce waste.
• Input production data to KPI tracking system (efficiency, downtime, inventory).
• Provide safety, environmental and health recommendations for the facility.
• Produce daily shift production reports and reviews.
