Fareva in Morton Grove, IL is hiring a Packaging Equipment Technician to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot lines. You will perform routine maintenance, assist in major overhauls, and work with packaging teams to meet production schedules while adhering to GMP, safety, and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience or technical training, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of related experience or technical training certificate.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Sets-up, adjusts, and troubleshoots packaging equipment.
• Completes minor repairs and assists in major overhaul on equipment.
• Works with packaging associates to execute the schedule.
• Communicates with Warehouse, Processing, Shop and support areas.
• Maintains safety, quality and GMP compliance.
