Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Melrose Park, IL, seeks a Packaging Operator to run packaging lines on fast-paced equipment, perform inspections, and ensure products meet specifications.

You will follow SOPs and cGMPs, train on AIM/HMI systems, lift up to 40 pounds (80 for object transport), and assist with changeovers while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Overtime may be required; competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Capable of lifting 40 lbs and transporting up to 80 lbs.
• Able to perform repetitive work on high-speed packaging lines (150–400 units/min).
• Strong attention to detail for labeling and inspection.
• Preferred experience with pallet jacks and basic HMI/AIM equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labeled vials, lot numbers, expiration dates, inserts, trays, partitions, shippers, and palletized packs.
• Operate high-speed automated inspection equipment (AIM) and read HMIs.
• Complete line clearances before/after production runs and ensure packaging meets specs.
• Follow SOPs and cGMPs; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist with changeovers and setup of packaging equipment as needed.
• Overtime as required; comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality programs.
