Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle in Rockford, IL seeks a Packaging Mechanic to perform planned preventative and condition-based maintenance on high-speed packaging lines. You will support production as directed by the Maintenance Leader and collaborate with R&M Leads, Planners, and Stores to optimize PMs and parts kitting.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, SAP proficiency, and willingness to travel for training. A 2-year maintenance background and a high school diploma are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Proficient in SAP, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and CBM/TBM PMs as required.
• Collect, analyze, and report machine conditions to identify abnormalities needing downtime.
• Communicate PM deliverables to Maintenance Leadership.
• Work on mechanically complex machines, including high-speed packaging lines.
• Utilize MS Office for data collection and reporting, SAP maintenance functions.
