Job summary

Fareva in Morton Grove, IL is seeking a Packaging Line Lead on the 2nd shift responsible for the production and activity on a single packaging line. You will coach and train line personnel while ensuring safety, cost, efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities include maintaining production schedules, leading line operations, complying with GMP, FDA procedures, and updating line KPIs throughout the shift. Requires 2–3 years of manufacturing experience and strong communication skills.

• Requires ability to receive and comprehend large quantities of varied data, organize and present it when required.
• Demonstrated ability to run and lead a production line.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Must follow GMP and FDA drug product manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take complete responsibility for product quality, resource utilization, operational efficiency and employee safety.
• Ensure processes and products conform to customer and company standards.
• Perform line operations to maintain production flow and provide schedule updates to management.
• Maintain line speeds and labor standards for assigned product/line.
• Handle materials efficiently to run the packaging line.
• Conduct online quality inspections and ensure GMP compliance.
• Complete production line paperwork, startup and quality checks procedures.
• Update line KPIs throughout the shift.
