Job summary

The Machine Operator position at Maker’s Pride, LLC handles set-ups and packaging equipment, ensuring products meet customer quality standards. GMP and HACCP knowledge, reliability, and ability to follow procedures are essential.

The role involves changeovers, documentation, and maintaining a clean work area across shifts. Starting pay ranges by operator level with additional shift differentials; a comprehensive benefits package begins after 90 days, including health, dental, 401k and wellness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP or willingness to learn.
• Sufficient math to calculate material quantities for orders.
• Good organizational and communication skills for prioritizing work.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to handle small tools and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment for product runs.
• Operates and adjusts equipment to meet quality specs.
• Inspects packages and documents results for quality adherence.
• Stages and checks materials for quick changeovers.
• Completes and documents required records for the position.
• Keeps the work area clean and organized.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
