Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator to perform set-ups, operate packaging equipment, and monitor product quality according to customer requirements. The role requires GMP/HACCP awareness, basic math, and strong communication to coordinate with line workers.

The position involves standing for long periods in a manufacturing environment with shift work and potential overtime. Full-time employment includes a comprehensive benefits package after the 90th day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP or willingness to learn.
• Good math skills to calculate material quantities for orders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and relay changes to line workers.
• Ability to handle small tools and follow safety policies and procedures.
• English reading and writing ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment accurately for product runs and prepare for changeovers.
• Operate and adjust equipment to meet quality specs.
• Inspect and test packages and document results to ensure quality.
• Stage materials for quick and accurate changeovers.
• Complete and assemble all required documentation for the position.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
