Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as map sealer and moisture equipment as trained.

• Routinely lift and stack bags/boxes up to ~55 pounds.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor areas, in varying temperatures and conditions.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the General Laborer will work in a fast-paced production environment. Must be able to work in a variety of areas and departments as needed.

Position Responsibilities

• Ability to learn how to operate equipment such as map sealer, moisture, equipment, etc.
• Must adhere to all Food Safety, GMP, and Sanitation rules
• Able to follow directions and perform other tasks as requested
• Ability to function in a constantly changing environment with a variety of tasks
• Routinely lifting and stacking 55+/- pound bags and boxes
• Standing and working for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors/indoors, in hot/cold, noisy, and dusty environments

Position Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends and 12-hour shifts
• Ability to read and complete all paperwork associated with the hiring process, safety procedures and job duties
• Attention to detail and instruction provided on the job
• Work in a team setting and coordinate with team members daily
• Will be required to demonstrate good verbal communication with supervisors
