Job Description

• Responsible for packing the finished product in cases/boxes after product has been determined to be in perfect conditions.
• General housekeeping, maintaining a clean and orderly work area to be in compliance with GMP and SQF Food Safety standards.
• Responsible for supplying products, jars, and caps to assigned production line.
• Keep all work area in compliance with housekeeping guidelines and free of any object that might contaminate product.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Responsible for use of correct packaging material and printing of labels.
• Has good communication skills with co-workers.
• Responsible for adherence to the production schedule
• Follow/Lead/Demonstrate Olam’s Safety and Quality principles
• Perform other related duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Preferred food manufacturing environment
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience preferred
• Ability to work with positive attitude in a high stress environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Flexible availability to work Saturdays due to business needs.

The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $17.65/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
