Job summary
Harpak-ULMA is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead the North American service organization for ULMA Flow, Stretch and Vertical packaging equipment. You will coach field service and shop technicians, partner with factory teams, and drive customer satisfaction through strong technical leadership.
This role demands hands-on problem solving, proactive process improvement, and the ability to travel across North America.
Qualifications
- Technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in technical service in manufacturing/industrial settings.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting automated industrial equipment and controls systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to travel throughout North America.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Technical Services Team across North America.
- Drive exceptional customer support and issue resolution.
- Improve operational excellence with metrics and reporting.
- Manage equipment non-conformities and coordinate with factory teams.
- Support implementation of new products and upgrades.
- Develop partnerships with ULMA factory personnel and product managers.
- Stay informed on packaging technologies and industry trends.
