Job summary

ProMach, Inc. in Salt Lake City seeks a Technical Service Representative to proactively generate leads and cultivate customer relationships in a multi-state territory.

You will identify opportunities, deliver technical and commercial proposals, and coordinate with engineering to tailor packaging solutions. Responsibilities include visiting customers across WA, OR, CA, NV, UT and AZ, documenting progress in Salesforce, and supporting installation, setup, and troubleshooting of transverse jaws.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in technical support or roles related to packaging machinery.
• Solid understanding of packaging machine components.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings; CAD experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold outreach, networking, and events.
• Conduct customer visits to explore growth potential and increase sales.
• Assess customer needs and propose customized product solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
• Serve as main contact for distributors and end users; document CRM progress.
