Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Packaging Coordinator to join a premier manufacturing client in Milan, IL. The role offers a 1-year contract at $25.00 per hour with training shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm and flexible hours after training.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering, business, or supply chain or related experience, and can work onsite in a warehouse environment. Ability to lift 50 lbs, drive a small vehicle, and travel to nearby offsite warehouses is required.

Qualifications

• Have basic experience coordinating the work of others (4-6 months preferred).
• Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, and data entry/analysis.
• Demonstrate sound decision-making and attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, drive a small vehicle (golf cart), and be on your feet ~50% of the day.
• Work 100% onsite in a warehouse; occasional travel within ~10 miles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key link between channel partners and the company to resolve service parts orders, configuration, and shipments.
• Measure parts in the warehouse and enter data into the packaging specification app.
• Review parts/locations from Analysts and instructions/lists.
• Produce, update, and provide best-practice support on Microsoft docs, databases, and systems.
• Design a monthly schedule and potentially assign tasks to others to optimize workflow.
• Use data management systems, collect and analyze data, and ensure efficient supply chain activities.
• Operate complex equipment and support facilities management activities.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour (1-year Contract)

Shift: 1st shift hours during training period 7:00am - 3:30pm. After training is completed, hours are flexible.

What's a typical day as Packaging Coordinator? You'll be:

This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You

• Have basic experience coordinating the work of others (4-6 months preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Possess strong computer skills, especially in Excel, and can handle data entry and analysis.
• Demonstrate sound decision-making skills and attention to detail.
• Hold an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or have equivalent work experience.
• Are physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, drive a small battery-operated vehicle (like a golf cart), and are comfortable being on your feet for about 50% of the day.
• Are able to work 100% onsite in a warehouse environment and can occasionally travel to nearby offsite warehouses (within 10 miles).
• Can provide your own metatarsal safety shoes; other PPE will be supplied.
