Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Commodity Manager for the US packaging portfolio. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, develop global strategies and drive supplier relationships across domestic sites, with a focus on cost competitiveness, innovation, and risk management.

You will work with Engineering, Operations, Finance and suppliers to deliver savings, value, and compliant, scalable procurement processes in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain leadership.
• Demonstrated experience managing supply bases and high-growth product categories.
• Strong negotiating skills with proven success negotiating, implementing and managing supply contracts, and delivering savings.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of the US packaging component portfolio and develop global sourcing strategies.
• Lead supplier relationships, scorecards, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead RFPs & RFQs, and contract negotiations (MSA) to secure favorable terms while managing risk.
• Drive innovation and ensure suppliers meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Own financial reporting and analysis for the US packaging category, including cost savings and cash flow.
