Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sourcing – North America to lead the strategic direction and execution of the NA sourcing team. You will drive supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and optimize costs, quality, and delivery across all business units.

You will build a high-performing team, champion continuous improvement, and partner with global teams to meet aggressive product goals, including localization efforts in the USA, Mexico and Canada. 25% travel required.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive management experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain Operations.
Experience leading a North American sourcing team and defining strategy.
Strong negotiation and project leadership experience.
Experience supporting New Product Development.
Strong analytical skills for data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to develop risk mitigation strategies for sourced materials.
Experience in high-volume consumer product manufacturing desirable.
Lean/Six Sigma knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and drive all aspects of the North American sourcing function and team.
Define and articulate strategy, vision, and vendor relationships.
Negotiate terms, measure performance, and optimize total costs, quality, delivery, and safety.
Build and develop a high-energy sourcing team and culture.
Oversee parts localization across USA, Mexico, and Canada.
Develop metrics and dashboards to track real-time data and drive decisions.
Collaborate with global teams on product requirements and sourcing tactics.
Develop budgets and provide fiscal oversight for resources.
