Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Senior Vice President of Sourcing – North America to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across the region. You will partner with executive leaders to align goals, optimize total costs and lead a high-performance team across multiple business units.

You will drive supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and develop localization strategies in the US, Mexico, and Canada, while building robust metrics and data-driven decision processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a technical field is required; advanced degree is a plus.
• 15+ years of progressive management experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain with team leadership and strategic direction.
• Proven ability to develop USA and Mexico suppliers to enable business strategies and performance metrics.
• Strong negotiating and project leadership experience with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive all aspects of the sourcing function across North America, defining strategy and vision.
• Build a high-energy sourcing team and foster open communication and development.
• Model Milwaukee Tool culture and drive continuous improvement across the organization and supply base.
• Own supplier relationship development and management for all Milwaukee business units.
• Create sourcing strategies to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service.
• Drive localization of parts into USA, Mexico, and Canada to support operations.
• Establish leadership, metrics, and strategies for indirect spend (Facilities, MRO, Office, Sales/Brand).
• Develop data-tracking tech solutions to monitor metrics in real time for faster decisions.
