A global leader in packaging technology is seeking a Sales Engineer in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and over 3 years of experience in technical sales within the packaging automation sector. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, creating proposals, and supporting system startups. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 plus OTE, alongside benefits such as 401k and private health care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 3+ years in technical sales or applications engineering within packaging automation.
• Strong understanding of automation equipment, including conveyors, baggers, fillers, robots.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and develop custom proposals for automation solutions.
• Work closely with territory managers to qualify leads and support sales stages.
• Create detailed technical proposals and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
• Support system startup and training alongside field service teams.
• Stay informed on packaging trends to develop business in new and existing markets.
