Job summary

Upside Search is seeking a results-driven sales professional to promote automated packaging solutions in the Cincinnati/Chicago region. You will identify customer needs, present tailored concepts, and coordinate with engineering and commercial teams to win deals.

This role requires a four-year degree, strong knowledge of material flow and packaging, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. A company vehicle is provided and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree is required.
• Very good knowledge of material flow, packaging and shipping.
• MS Office applications and CRM experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent market research and participate in marketing campaigns to promote company solutions.
• Accompany sales colleagues on customer visits to identify their needs.
• Actively search for potential new clients.
• Analyze customer’s requirements/priorities.
• Collaborate with technical departments to create a first solution concept.
• Create a bridge between technical and commercial teams including sales, engineering and the customer.
• Present a solution and probability of success to the customer.
• Negotiate an offer including technical, commercial and contractual aspects.
• Manage relationships with Distributors and End-Users.
• Serve as Project Coordinator during implementation.
• Be proficient at conducting distributor sales meetings and end user presentations and product demonstrations.
• Timely reporting of sales activity, monthly expense reports and updates in CRM-reporting pipeline activity.
