Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a Packaged Gases Customer Service Representative for the Santa Rosa, CA area. You will manage sales campaigns, schedule appointments for sales, and assist with direct quotes and follow-up to improve customer satisfaction.

You will work with Sales Leaders, Marketing and Customer Service to address customer needs, restock showroom merchandise, provide information, and support warehouse operations while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in outbound calling/insidesales or marketing desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Clear speaking and communication abilities with customers and employees.
• Basic math skills for quotes and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to schedule appointments for sales with new or existing customers, notifying sales of committed appointment times and following up for satisfaction.
• Provide quotes or complete the sale, if campaign appropriate to directly gain new business.
• Identify opportunities that could protect or yield new business and communicate to the appropriate function for follow up.
• Restock showroom merchandise and keep displays organized and clean.
• Manage requests for products, price and technical information.
• Assist in warehouse tasks including shipping, receiving, and inventory stocking.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and procedures.
• Identify sources of leads and pre-qualify with sales and marketing.
• Track results of outbound campaigns.
• Back up inbound customer service as needed.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
