Job summary

FedEx Ground is seeking a Package Handler Trainer to educate and oversee new and current Package Handlers in loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning methods. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to procedures across dock operations.

You will train peers, monitor performance, and communicate operational status to managers. The position is on-site in California with a shift pattern and benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.

Responsibilities

• Trains new PHs on unloading, loading, palletizing, and handling techniques.
• Provides training to PHs in need of additional instruction on handling techniques.
• Reinforces dock safety standards and updates managers on sort conditions.
