Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an experienced trainer for Package Handlers at the California location. The role focuses on teaching unloading, loading, palletizing, and scanning techniques to ensure safe, efficient package movement.

Responsibilities include coaching PHs, reinforcing safety standards, and updating management on sort conditions to improve operation efficiency. Travel is not required and shifts may include evenings and overnight hours.

Qualifications

• No education required; six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler (PH) with FedEx Ground preferred.
• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.

Responsibilities

• Trains new PHs on unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable package handling techniques.
• Provides training to PHs in need of additional instruction as determined by management.
• Reinforces dock safety standards among peers.
• Updates managers on conditions during the sort to support efficiency decisions.
• Assists in implementing new package handling procedures and techniques.
• Loads/unloads and trains others on handling packages safely and efficiently.
