Federal Express Corporation seeks an experienced trainer to coach Package Handlers in unloading, loading, palletizing, and scanning techniques. You will lead safety-focused training and reinforce best practices across shifts.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to mentor peers while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role offers stable hours and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information in order to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• PHs operating switching equipment must have a valid driver's license and maintain a DOT file.

Responsabilidades

• Trains new PHs in unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable handling techniques.
• Provides training to other PHs in need of additional instruction on unloading, carrying, loading, palletizing, smalls handling, SWAK, or non-conveyable handling techniques.
• Provides feedback on proper package handling techniques, as needed.
• Reinforces dock safety standards among peer PHs.
• Updates managers on conditions during the sort so operation efficiency decisions can be made.
• Assists in the implementation of new package handling procedures and techniques.
• Regularly loads/unloads, palletizes, lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages while training other PHs.
• Loads and unloads packages onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor system carts and load gratings.
• Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages on a continuous and repetitive basis for approx. shift of 3-5 hours.
• Determines appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and memorizing information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
