Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in the United States is seeking a Training Specialist for Package Handlers to train new PHs in loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning to ensure safe movement of packages. You will supervise daily routines and reinforce dock safety across the operation.

Six months of PH experience with FedEx Ground is preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential. This role may involve working in multiple dock areas and shifting schedules based on operation needs.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; six months of PH experience preferred.
• Ability to train multiple peer PHs and follow safety standards.
• Ability to lift 10–50 pounds and operate basic loading equipment.

Responsibilities

• Train new Package Handlers on unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable package handling techniques.
• Provide training to other PHs requiring additional instruction as directed by management.
• Provide feedback on proper package handling techniques and reinforce dock safety standards.
• Update managers on conditions during sorting to support efficiency decisions.
• Assist in implementing new package handling procedures and techniques.
• Regularly load/unload, palletize, lift, carry, push and pull packages while training other PHs.
