Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as scanners and carts.

Responsibilities

• Trains new PHs on loading, unloading, palletizing, carrying, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable package handling techniques.
• Provides training to other PHs in need of instruction on unloading, carrying, loading, and scanning techniques.
• Reinforces dock safety standards among peers.
• Updates managers on conditions during the sort to aid efficiency decisions.
• Assists in implementing new package handling procedures and techniques.
