Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an experienced trainer for Package Handlers to lead and mentor teammates in unloading, loading, palletizing, and safe handling of packages. You will rotate across roles and support the operation with hands-on coaching and safety emphasis.

Responsibilities include training peers, reinforcing safety standards, and communicating to management about on-floor conditions to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Trains new PHs in unloading, loading, palletizing and handling techniques.
• Provides training to PHs needing additional instruction based on management direction.
• Provides feedback on proper package handling techniques as needed.
• Reinforces dock safety standards among peers.
• Updates managers on conditions during the sort to aid efficiency decisions.
