Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor trained and certified to perform multiple operational roles to accommodate alternative schedules and increase operational flexibility. This position analyzes and plans the center’s daily package dispatch and handles operational service issues, coordinating the needs and efforts of the operation to ensure customer satisfaction.

It provides customer service support and facilitates the smooth execution of procedures and management of systems.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and plans the center’s daily package dispatch and increases operational flexibility by accommodating alternative schedules.
• Handles operational service issues (e.g., on-call Air pickups, heavy pickup accounts, unforeseen events).
• Coordinates needs and efforts of the operation to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Provides customer service support (e.g., answering messages, concerns, call tags, destination follow ups).
• Facilitates the smooth execution of operational procedures and the management of systems.
