Job summary

Lundbeck seeks an experienced Psychiatry Area Sales Manager for the Pacific Northwest, covering Portland and Seattle with travel up to 70%. You will lead a high performing sales team, shape territory strategy, and build relationships with providers and payers to promote Lundbeck’s psychiatry portfolio.

Responsibilities include coaching managers, analyzing market dynamics, and ensuring compliant execution of promotional plans while meeting sales goals. Travel and credentialing requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
• External candidates: 3+ years sales management experience in Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceuticals.
• Internal candidates: 1 year commercial experience in sales mgmt/training/market access or 2 years consistent Lundbeck sales.
• Track record of sales success and financial management.
• Superior communication skills, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a high performing sales team in psychiatry.
• Set area strategic direction and tactical sales plans.
• Develop local market strategies, relationships with KOLs and advocacy groups.
• Ensure compliant execution of marketing plans and promotions.
• Coach Account Managers and drive meeting sales goals.
