Providence is seeking a Cardiac Device Tech to work on-site in Medford, OR. You will perform device interrogations, monitor rhythms, and support device programming under supervision, contributing to safe patient care and accurate documentation.

You will collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure timely interventions while educating patients on device follow-up and care plans. This full-time role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and alignment with Providence’s clinical standards.

Formación

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Cardiac Monitoring and Telemetry to accurately interpret rhythms and device data.
• Foundational knowledge in Cardiology to support device management and clinical decision-making.
• Clear Communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families.
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology to document findings accurately and understand cardiology-related documentation.
• Relevant experience in cardiac device or telemetry roles and familiarity with pacemaker/ICD interrogation systems.
• Cardiovascular technology program or equivalent clinical training; professional certification in cardiac device or rhythm analysis (CRAT/RCES) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform device interrogations and monitor cardiac rhythms.
• Review telemetry and cardiac monitoring data to identify abnormal rhythms.
• Assist in device programming under direction.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
• Educate patients about their cardiac devices and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure patient safety and adherence to Providence standards.
