Mercyhealth is seeking a Cardiac Device Specialist to perform face-to-face visits for interrogation, re-programming, and rhythm interpretation of implanted devices, plus remote checks. The role emphasizes patient experience, safe team-based care, and accurate documentation in EMR and PaceArt systems.

The position requires an RN with IL licensure, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and possibly ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP per department rules. 40 hours/week with competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Documents according to standards of care and maintains accurate EMR records.
• Educates patients and families and supports ongoing learning.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Assists in department performance improvement and keeps patient safety as a priority.
