Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Cardiac Device Technologist to perform device interrogations and programming for Pacemakers, ICDs, Loop Recorders and home monitors. You will assess patient data with clinical judgment and educate patients on their cardiac care and medications.

The role requires strong emergency response skills and the ability to adapt to varying schedules across cardiology locations, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or 5 years of related cardio experience required.
• Certification from cardiology boards upon hire.
• Experience with cardiac device tech and monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform device interrogations, interpretations and programming of Pacemakers, ICDs, Loop Recorders and home monitor equipment.
• Process patient data with clinical judgment and educate patients on cardiac care.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies per physician protocol.
• Escort patients and provide care as directed by a provider.
• Potential variability in work schedule between Cardiology locations.
